The team has an engineering trailer which due to space is currently kept in a separate garage to our depot. This contains a variety of equipment that can can used in cases of collapses underground or to stabilise boulder chokes etc.
Sandbags, plastic sheeting and other materials are also stored to enable the construction of dams and the digging of diversion ditches. For pumping operations we would normally call upon the services of North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue for assistance and use their equipment.
CRO also has amongst other engineering equipment a generator, floodlights, tripod, high lift jacks, rock splitting equipment and a variety of drills.
