Who's counting? (2nd June)

Our 'little bit of fun' around Birkwith on Monday evening (1st June) was CRO's 33rd incident of 2009.  Bearing in mind that, unlike some teams, we don't record a 'stand-by' as an incident, nor do we double count an incident going into two days, that's quite busy for any team outside the Lake District.  Fortunately, most incidents have been quite minor.  Click on 'Incidents' at the top of the page, then on '2009', for the most up-to-date action.

If statistics or safety education interest you, please take a look at 'Rescue 2009', our fuller account of last year's incidents attended by CRO members, by clicking on the image of its front cover (to the left of here).  If you'd like to use this as a training aid, we can supply multiple copies, by post, so long as you cover at least the postage.  The publication is 20 pages at A5, so please send a suitably stamped and sized addressed envelope, saying how many you'd like sending.  Our postal address for this would be 'Incident Report', CRO, Clapham, LANCASTER LA2 8HH.

We think it's a good read - see what you think!

(And if you're ever passing a rescue and take photographs, please e-mail depot@cro.org.uk, to let us know if you're willing to share them.  Thanks.)
