They agreed to set up a cave rescue organisation based on Settle\; rescue wardens were appointed and liaison with the Police and St John's Ambulance established. The CRO became operational early in 1935\, the first volunteer cave rescue \;team in the country\, possibly the world. \; END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR |
